Walvero connects to your till system so points are calculated from the basket total automatically and rewards apply at the checkout - with nothing extra for your cashier to do.
How the POS Connection Works
Your till sends Walvero the details of each sale: who the customer is and what they spent. Walvero calculates the points against your rules and updates the card. By the time the customer opens their phone the balance is already correct. The connection runs both ways, so a discount or reward can be applied at the till too.
Automatic Earning and Redemption at Checkout
Without an integration your cashier has to scan the QR code as a separate step. With one that step disappears: the customer presents their card, the sale completes, the points calculate themselves. The queue does not slow down and nobody forgets - which is where loyalty programmes lose most of their data in practice.
REST API and Webhooks
Walvero provides a REST API and webhooks. The webhook delivers the sale event in real time; the API reads and writes customer, balance and campaign data. The documentation is written for whoever builds the connection, whether that is your POS vendor or your own developer.

What Your POS Provider Needs to Do
In most cases the only thing your provider has to do is register a webhook address for the sale event. You can send them the documentation directly.
If Your POS Is Not Listed
The programme works fully without any POS integration - a printed QR code at the counter is enough and no feature is lost. Integration is a convenience, not a requirement. Send us the name of your system and we will tell you how quickly it can be connected.
